The Land & New Homes Network which helps estate agents win more instructions in the land and new homes sector is celebrated its first birthday on Wednesday 28 June.

The network’s founder, Kevin Ellis, who has worked in the land and new homes sector for more than 15 years, said: “We officially launched a couple of days after the Brexit result sent shockwaves through the industry.

“I’d be lying if I said it didn’t cause me any concern but the appetite from agents to seize the land and new home opportunity was there right from the very start. In fact, it’s been overwhelming.

“Before starting the network I thought there was a massive gap in the market which independent agents could fill by offering developers and land owners the level of service they need.

“We educate our members on the best ways to source land, identify potential sites, build relationships with developers and much more including providing them access to leading property technology.”

At its heart, the network helps independent agents collaborate to win instructions in a domain that was dominated by larger, corporate agents.

LNHN’s Managing Director, Ian Stratford, who spent more than 11 years working as a director at the Relocation Agent Network, said: “The network is enabling independent agents to work together and make their overall offer far more appealing to house builders and developers.

“We help them speak the language of developers and identify the best ways to present their offer to them.”

Success stories from their first 12 months have seen members win £000 amount of land and new homes instructions and join forces on several projects.

Kevin added: “It’s been a whirlwind 12 months and we’d like to thank everyone who has supported us and made it all possible.

“The future for the land and new homes sector is incredibly bright and we’ve got some very exciting plans to develop our services to give agents a more comprehensive and ‘done for you’ range of services.”
