New Homes Live and Kicking - Land & New Homes Network

It was fantastic to see so many of the Network’s members at the successful New Homes Live event in London on Friday (14 October) followed by our own Member Exclusive event in the afternoon.

Seeing new members there who had only just joined the network the previous week was superb and it turned out to be a great opportunity to network, share ideas and learn from some of the brightest minds in the property and marketing industries.

New Homes Live organised by our friends at the Property Academy and we were co-sponsors along with Moneypenny and Zoopla Property Group.

Attendees were treated to great presentations from digital marketing expert Susan Hallam and highly respected behavioural economist Roger Martin-Fagg who shared his predictions for the property market post-Brexit.

They were joined by Malcolm Smith who proved why he is seen as a world leading expert on negotiation skills.

His talk focussed a wide range of skills including the power of language and stories and importantly for estate agents how to overcome objections.

Malcolm was part of the line up that appeared in our Exclusive Members Conference later in the afternoon where we heard from Tim Burden, Director at Turley Planning and Chris Haley, MD of Maitland Selwyn.

Peter Knight, non executive Director of LNH Network and Chairman of Property Academy also joined us to share his experience having grown the Robinson Jackson new homes business to be selling over 1500 new build units per year prior to be sold to the Halifax.

These events form a hugely important part of how our members benefit from being part of the Land and New Homes Network.

It’s our belief that to be your market’s leading agents taking the time to learn new skills and develop existing ones goes a long way to set our members apart from their competition.

And hearing from the experts who presented on the day will only enhance the knowledge and experience our members have and can apply o building their land and new homes departments.

Watch this space for announcements on our next event and for more updates on how we’re helping members make the most of land and new home opportunities.

In the meantime, take a look at what our members are saying about being part of the Land & New Homes Network.
