If it’s good enough for Rightmove?

Every estate agent has an opinion about Rightmove.

Some love the online portal giant for the audience it brings with it.

Others loathe it as a digital monster bordering on a monopoly.

One thing it’s safe to say is that most agents recognise that Rightmove are exceptionally good at what they do and how they build their booming business.

On Friday, as announced by the Property Industry Eye, Rightmove announced both revenues and profits up in the first half of this year, driven by growth in its agency and new homes business.

We’re not surprised by their figures, or the fact their new homes business is helping achieve those big numbers.

One thing people must give Rightmove credit for is their ability to consider the future and target growth areas for their business. And their focus on the new homes boom is a great example of that.

We’re still genuinely surprised when agents, some very successful and well established in their market, come to us with no clear strategy on getting their piece of the land and new homes pie.

To do it well you can’t just dabble or play at the land and new home sector because it’s too competitive for that.

And that’s where the Land and New Homes Network come in. Helping forward thinking agents make the most of the opportunity, because as Rightmove have shown when you get it right the rewards can be very big.

We’re seeing lots of our members across the country do exactly that by winning some fantastic instructions from land owner and developers.
